That is, unless the player decides to try out the remake instead. The minor gameplay adjustments and the massive graphical overhaul is enough to make the Nara4d game feel that much more modern and easy to get into. Demon’s Souls is the best PS5 game you can play at launch, and I’m sure it will go down in history as one of the best launch titles of all time. The Old One has awoken and I hope this review feeds it more souls.
It’s hard to imagine anything topping Elden Ring anytime soon, yet Miyazaki himself has said the game isn’t perfect — but the studio is getting there. Will Demon’s Souls For Ps5 Have An Easy Mode?
Dark Souls is credited as the game that popularized the Soulslike genre that provides tough-as-nails, methodical third-person melee combat in an intriguing, lore-heavy world. But Demon’s Souls is the all-important forerunner — and it’s never looked or felt better than on the PS5. Sony has a number of announced upcoming PS5 games, including Astro Bot, Lego Horizon Adventures, Marvel’s Wolverine, Concord, and more.
